Aside from wanting to see the human world, I had another wish.

Every vampire family has a beloved partner. But after so many years in the tribe, I had not found mine.

I wanted to find a lover in the human world—a partner with whom I could share everything.

I purchased an ancient castle villa in this place. It has a blood pool, fresh blood bags in the basement, and servants under my control—just like the grandeur of my race's dwelling.

My greatest flaw is that I cannot be exposed to sunlight.

I could only move about at night, so bars became my most frequented places.

I enjoy going to Green Bar in downtown. It is the most upscale entertainment venue in the city. It is extravagantly indulgent and devoid of any presence from the research institute or special defense forces—making it the safest place for me as well.

I love drinking Bloody Marys.

unlike ordinary ones, mine is made with real human blood.

"Miss Erin, what would you like to drink?" The bartender David greeted me with a smile as soon as I arrived. His face had grown considerably paler since my last visit.

"The usual." I smiled back at him and took his wrist for a bite when no one was watching.

Satisfied, I aimed David's wrist at the glass as he prepared a Bloody Mary for me.

After he finished making it, he respectfully handed it over to me.

"Thanks." I lifted the drink and took a satisfying sip while raising an eyebrow.

My thirst for blood was insatiable. One Bloody Mary simply wouldn't suffice for an entire night at the bar. The strong smell of alcohol mixed with various perfumes and smoke masked the scent of human blood. However, there were times when I got addicted at the bar—during those moments, I'd kiss men's necks on the dance floor to drink their blood before making them forget everything.

In this vibrant atmosphere filled with lights and drinks, no one noticed what I was doing. Thus, I spent quite some leisurely days at Green Bar without finding what I truly desired.

That night, I sat alone at the bar savoring my drink—this time it was genuine alcohol as I'd fed enough at home before coming out.

Wearing a backless black scale dress with long black hair cascading down my waist almost obscuring it, I could feel many men casting covetous glances at me, yet none dared approach me. I took a sip of my drink with a disdainful smile.
