Whispers of the HeartChapter 1
Charlotte Adams was awakened by Isaac Whitman's actions late at night.
Isaac had called to say he wouldn't come. Charlotte opened her eyes in a daze and saw Isaac leaning against her and kissing her ear.
"Why are you here?" Charlotte's voice softened as he kissed her. "Didn't you say you wanted to go back and be with her?"
Isaac did not answer Charlotte. He quickly tore off her pajamas and started.
After it was over, Charlotte snuggled into Isaac's arms. Isaac held her with one hand and casually played with her hair as if he were teasing a pet.
"Isaac, when will you get divorced?" asked Charlotte.
Isaac smiled gently and asked, instead of answering, "Do you really want me to divorce and marry you?"
Charlotte heard Isaac's teasing and punched him lightly on the chest. "You're so annoying."
Isaac didn't beat around the bush this time. He said, "Just wait a little longer."
Charlotte looked at him in the eyes and asked him, "Are you lying to me?"
Charlotte and Isaac's relationship had been going on for a year and a half.
Charlotte was in the second year of her master's degree this year. Isaac's wife was Charlotte's mentor. His wife was Stella Whitman. She was beautiful and had a good family background. She was a well-known beauty in the college.
Isaac and Stella were well-known for their excellent relationship. He often went to the school to pick Stella up after getting off work. Over time, Charlotte got to know him.
Once, it had been raining heavily outside. Charlotte hadn't brought an umbrella and couldn't get a taxi. So, she just waited on the side of the road and got soaked by the rain.
She happened to meet Isaac at that time. Since she was Stella's student, Isaac helped her and sent her back to her apartment.
At that time, Charlotte lived alone in a one-bedroom apartment of more than 215 square feet. Isaac sent her upstairs, and the bed was right after the door.
Charlotte got excited, hooked Isaac's neck, and kissed him.
That night, Charlotte slept with Isaac for the first time. Things got out of control after that.
In fact, Charlotte had always been jealous of Stella because Stella was so perfect.
She was only in her forties and had already been the associate professor.
Not only that, Stella was also an internationally renowned pianist who had won numerous awards and had participated in countless highest-level performances.
