My Husband Refused to Save Me Because of His First LoveChapter 1
On my wedding anniversary, while I was preparing dinner and waiting for my husband Keith Spencer to come back, I accidentally slipped and felt a sudden pain in my abdomen, but I could not get up. My first reaction was to take out my mobile phone from my pocket and call my husband.
But when the phone was connected, there was a noisy voice and Keith's impatient voice coming from the other end of the phone. "I'm very busy now. I don't have time to accompany you for dinner. You can eat first, don't call me if there's nothing else." At the same time, there was also a clear background sound coming from the phone ....
"Clara, happy birthday!"
"Wait, wait, where is the male lead?"
"Keith! I'm waiting for you to go over and make a wish with her."
He quickly explained. "Everyone is celebrating her birthday. I'll go back later, so don't rush me! Don't call over to rush me again!"

I knew that Clara Delevingne was my husband's first love. I could not care less about being sad and upset. I just need to keep the child in my belly now, so I said, "I fell at home and I can't get up. Can you come back and take me to the hospital? I feel so uncomfortable ...."
But then, the voice of his good friend, William Smith, came through. "Anastasia, let Keith celebrate Clara's birthday with us. Don't be jealous and pretend to be sick on the phone. He told us you love to pretend, but now I didn't expect you to even pretend to be sick with the baby in your belly!"
As soon as those words fell, there was laughter from others, including Clara's voice ....
"Oh my god, I didn't expect what Keith said was true. That woman likes to pretend to be sick so much to trick Keith back! She's so scheming ... it's so terrifying! I've never seen such a woman before."
The phone was hung up and I could only stare at the disconnected phone blankly. A chill seeped out of my heart and spread throughout my body, making me feel cold all over.
I did not expect that in my own husband's eyes, I was a person who loved to pretend, nor did I expect him to say such things about me in front of others, portraying me as a scheming woman who loved to pretend to be sick.
Out of unwillingness, I once again dialed his number, but this time his phone was turned off or unable to be dialed. I realized ... he had blocked me.
